Senior Sales Trader (Req #6100)
Trade financial assets, including equities, fixed income, FX, structured products, options, forwards, etc. Maintain and manage relationships with clients in Latin America, communicate in Spanish and Portuguese with clients in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and other countries. Coordinate trading parameters and strategies with dealers in USA and Europe. Create custom reports for clients on various economic and market topics. Assist head trader in guiding desk personnel on bonds and equity recommendations and market commentary. Calculate and quote prices for different asset types, including options and structured products.
Requirements: The position requires a bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance or a related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience. Required skills: trading international equity markets; trading international bonds; Bloomberg expertise; building fixed income portfolios; writing about economics and markets in English, Spanish and Portuguese; relationship management with clients in LatAm, US and Europe; fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, series 7 license.
The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of experience.
