Humberto BAÑUELOS

Humberto Bañuelos is Managing Director and head of the Private Client division. In his role, he leads the firm’s strategy on wealth services for clients. Humberto is a member of the firm’s Management and Investment Committees. He has over 30 years of experience in the Latin American and US financial services industry including leadership positions in asset management, investment banking, securities markets and wealth management.

Prior to joining Bulltick, Humberto was Head of BBVA International Private Banking for the Americas based in Miami, FL and was a member of the board of directors of the Florida International Banking Association (FIBA), where he was an active member and served as Vice President.

Previously, Humberto was the CEO of BBVA Bancomer Casa de Bolsa and Asset Management in Mexico, as well as Head of International Private Banking and a member of the group’s Executive Committee.

Humberto served as member of the board of directors of Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, was President of Asociación Mexicana de Instituciones Bursatiles (AMIB), and was member of the Executive Committee of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial.

Humberto holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Ibero Americana, in Mexico and has a post-graduate degree in Business by the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas (IPADE), and two post-graduate degrees in Finance by the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico (ITAM).
