Conduct trade booking and settlement, of US and non-US equities in both domestic and foreign markets, as well as generate trade confirmation and settlement instructions. Analyze market and economic data, including market trends, to develop economic views, in conjunction with the macroeconomic team. Apply economic methods to resolve trade discrepancies and breaks in the company’s daily blotter. Monitor and act on trade affirmation and cross border of securities. Conduct multiple reports involving settlement status, trade blotter and Profit and Loss, among others. Perform trade reconciliation between blotter and booking system, instruct and deal with outcoming wire transfers and report incoming transfer of funds and securities. Provide expertise and advice on economic trends. Support the trading desk with information and reporting about securities in general, like corporate action and margin calls. Collect economic data from securities industry for economic macro research analysis and conduct statistical modeling past and possible future performance of assets and liabilities to lower volatility while maximizing returns. Conduct meetings with clients, multiple vendors, prime brokers, and market makers on a daily basis. Follow up on the day-to-day activities, control and resolve anything related to trade settlement. Handle custody of securities in cash or margin account and settlement on COD accounts for delivery versus payment (DVP) of receive versus payment (RVP) of securities.May telecommute up to 20% of time subject to management approval.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience with international and domestic securities portfolio settlement, Bloomberg TOMS, Pershing NETX360, trade allocation system, and Power BI. Must possess FINRA Series 7 license. Fluent in Spanish to communicate with clients.
